European parliamentarians condemn Turkish aggression on northern and eastern Syria

European parliamentarians denounced the Turkish attacks on the northern and eastern regions of Syria, “Any attempts to target security and stability in the areas of the Autonomous Administration would prolong the conflict.”
European officials stressed that any escalation against the region will be exploited by “extremist organizations, whose cells are still active in several areas in Syria, and are waiting for the right opportunity to return again.”
During a meeting between the representative of the Autonomous Administration in Europe, Abdelkarim Omar, with members of the European Parliament in the French city of Strasbourg, European parliamentarians Jordi Sole, Ana Miranda, Eugenia RodrÃguez, Andreas Scheider and Nicolai Velomsen confirmed.
“However, they believe in the importance of moving forward efforts to bring peace to Syria, in accordance with UN Resolution 2254 issued by the United Nations, stressing at the same time the importance of real representation of all Syrian components in the talks, in reference to the need to involve the Autonomous Administration and not exclude it from international meetings related to this matter.”
The parliamentarians stressed, according to the website of the Department of Foreign Relations: “They are familiar with the initiatives put forward by the Autonomous Administration, such as the initiative to resolve the Syrian crisis and host Syrian refugees wishing to come to its areas, saying, “These steps taken by the Autonomous Administration confirm once again that it has a clear vision and strategy to end the Syrian crisis, and thus it creates the appropriate ground for a comprehensive political solution that turns the page on years of violence, killing and destruction in
country.”
